Dr. Denver Sallee

Biography

Denver Sallee III, MD, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine and has been with the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Cardiology since 2002. His clinical focus is on heritable aortic aneurysm conditions as well as non-invasive imaging, including transthoracic echocardiography, fetal echocardiography, cardiac CT, and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMRI). He also provides outpatient and inpatient cardiology consultation at numerous locations throughout the Atlanta area. He founded the Aorta and Vascular Program at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in 2011 and served as its director until 2020 when he assumed his current role as Chief Financial Officer for Children’s Cardiology.  The Aorta and Vascular Program is a regional referral center for children with aortic aneurysm conditions. From a research standpoint, he is involved in several multicenter studies on heritable aortic aneurysm conditions. Additionally, Dr. Sallee is involved in research using CMRI to better understand vascular pathology in aneurysm conditions.
