Dr. Angela Yetman

Biography

Dr. Yetman is a Professor of Pediatrics & Internal Medicine in the divisions of Cardiology at the Children’s Hospital & Medical Center (CHMC) and Nebraska Medicine (NMC), University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha NE.  As a Canadian, she completed her cardiology training at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto where she did additional training in exercise physiology, electrophysiology and adult congenital cardiology.  She currently serves as the Director of the Pediatric Cardiovascular Genetics Clinic at CHMC and Medical Director of the Regional Aortopathy Program at NMC where she works closely with vascular and CT surgery.  Her practice over the past 25 years has been focused on the care of patients with aortic disease of all ages, and adults with congenital heart disease (ACHD).  She has been active in Aortopathy Telehealth initiatives and currently sees patients throughout the Midwest.  She serves as the ACHD Fellowship Program director.  She has previously served as the Medical Director of the Aortopathy Program in Salt Lake City UT, Denver CO and Little Rock AR and served as site PI for the PHN Pediatric Marfan Trial in Salt Lake City where she was the primary enroller into the trial.  She is the director of cardiovascular research at CHMC and is an active member of the cardiovascular imaging and exercise subsections.  She is a member of the Executive Committee of the international Montalcino Aortic Consortium.
