Melissa Russo, MD

Dr. Russo is a maternal-fetal medicine physician and clinical geneticist in the Division of Maternal- Fetal Medicine at Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. Dr. Russo is the director of Prenatal Genetics at Women & Infants’ Prenatal Diagnosis Center and is also one of the rare world experts on HTAD in pregnancy. She serves on committees for the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine to bridge the fields of obstetrics and genetics. Dr. Russo also serves on the Professional Advisory Board of the Marfan Foundation, is a member of the Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Research Collaborative and the Montalcino Aortic Consortium.
