Bart Ferket, MD, PhD

Biography

Dr. Ferket is an Associate Professor within the Department of Population Health Sciences and Policy at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Ferket is both a physician and clinical epidemiologist with extensive experience in decision modeling. He has authored and co-authored multiple decision analytic and economic studies on cardiovascular disease management in leading scientific journals. He has a demonstrated record of accomplished research grant projects and has been awarded an NHLBI R01 and AHA early career research grant as principal investigator. Dr. Ferket currently serves as lead decision scientist and health economist within the International Center for Health Outcomes and Innovation Research (InCHOIR) at Mount Sinai and the NHLBI-funded Cardiothoracic Surgical Trials Network (CTSN).
